    Find relief from the summer heat at Morrow County swimming pools and libraries

    MORROW CO., Ore. -- With temperatures still soaring, Morrow County Public Health Department has released a list of cooling centers in the area.

    Find places to cool off in Morrow County:

    Boardman Library - 200 South Main Street, Boardman

    Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Heppner Library - 444 North Main Street, Heppner

    Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Ione Library - 385 West 2nd Street, Ione

    Monday and Wednesday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

    Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Irrigon Library - 490 NE Main Street, Irrigon

    Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Swimming pools & Splash pads:

    Front Street Park Splash Pad - 2699 Front St NE, Boardman

    Willow Creek Water Park - 433 Riverside Ave, Heppner

    Monday through Saturday 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Kids up to age 18 swim for free.
