Rimac Automobili is making sure everyone knows all about its latest milestone.

The Croatian automaker is celebrating 15 years in business with a limited-edition Nevera . The aptly named 15th Anniversary Edition will be limited to nine examples and features a number of unique details to mark the company’s latest birthday.

A lot can change over the course of a decade and a half. Since starting his namesake marque in 2009, Mate Rimac has gone from being hobbyist obsessed with getting the most out of his mid-80s BMW 3-Series to the CEO of Bugatti Rimac. His biggest achievement over that time, and the reason he’s one of the auto industry’s brightest young stars, is the Nevera. The EV, along with its cousin, the Pininfarina Battista , has provide ample evidence that the supercar can outlive the combustion engine.

    Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition

What better way for Rimac to mark its 15th than by releasing a special version of its breakthrough vehicle? Each 15th Anniversary Edition features a dual-tone color scheme—copper up top, exposed carbon fiber below—and a matte finish, which is a first for the model. The snazzy color scheme carries over to the alloy wheels, which feature six spokes in copper and another three in black. Rounding out the exterior package is special badging, including a circuit board-like decal that runs from the top of the hood to the rear wing.

The use of copper isn’t restricted to the outside of the vehicle. You’ll find the color adorning the interior trim. The cabin’s two seats come in either white or black leather with a copper-colored headrest, which is embossed with the number 15, and contrast stitching. The armrests also feature a script denoting the car as one-of-nine and features the dates “2009-2024.”

Inside the Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition

The Nevera’s powertrain has been left untouched, but we doubt anyone will be upset about that. The EV features a quad-motor setup that pumps out a staggering 1,900 hp. With all that might at its disposal, the supercar can rocket from zero to 60 mph in 1.74 seconds and hit a top speed of 256 mph.

Rimac is taking orders for the Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition now. The special model starts at €2.35 million, or roughly $2.54 million, which is about $300,000 more than the standard edition. The company has already built the first example, which will make its debut at this week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, and plans to produce eight more.
