Trump Rages At Fox News For Covering 2024 Polls Showing Tight Race: ‘I’ll Be Releasing REAL POLLS Shortly!’

Former President Donald Trump blasted Fox News polling and teased his own “real polls” in a Truth Social post on Tuesday.

“FoxNews will never take great polls, from reputable pollsters, where I’m beating Crooked Joe, the worst President in history, by a lot, but will take FAKE confidential Democrat polls, that they leaked to Fox, and go up big with them. John Roberts , a real heavyweight, was the ‘anchor.’ I’ll be releasing REAL POLLS shortly!” the former president wrote on his social media platform.

Trump has frequently thrown shots at Fox News despite often appearing on the network, including on Monday when he spoke with Sean Hannity about the presidential race.

In a June survey released by Fox News, the network had the race between Trump and President Joe Biden close to other surveys. Biden was up by two points at 50%-48% as of June 17. Trump has been leading by a point the month before in their data. The poll was conducted before Biden’s CNN debate performance, which has led to some within his own party to call for a replacement candidate.

Trump appeared to be referencing Roberts on America Reports referring to internal polling showing a tight race and other candidates who could have a better chance against Trump than Biden. After Katie Pavlich reported on Tuesday that Trump is leading Vice President Kamala Harris and others in many polls (in the scenario that Biden were not the nominee), Roberts noted some “alternate” polling that showed a much tighter race, citing internal polling first reported by Politico .

“Trump beats Biden 43-42 but in that same internal polling Kamala Harris beats Trump 42-41, and [Hillary] Clinton at the top of the ticket with Harris as the running mate, trails Trump 43-40 so when you take a look at that internal information, is sticking with Biden the right way to go?” Roberts said.
