Barn damaged by fire

On July 4, firefighters were dispatched to a barn fire on Walton Road in Huntingtown. According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, the blaze resulted in $225,000 damage to the structure, which is owned by Michael Smith. There were no injuries reported.
