General Hospital is known for its twists and turns.
The ABC soap opera has been running on the network for 61 years and it has had a handful of new faces, shocking twists and reveals. On Monday, June 8, Cody Bell (played by Josh Kelley) made his General Hospital return and revealed that Mac Scorpio (played by John J. York) was his father. John came back after his hiatus while undergoing a stem cell transplant to treat two forms of cancer.
The big paternity reveal came to a shock to viewers at home, but this is not the first time General Hospital has done this. Here's a look back at the show's past paternity reveals.

Anna Devane and Robert Scorpio
In 1985, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), revealed that her daughter, Robin, was actually Robert Scorpio's (Tristan Rogers) child from their affair. Robert knew that Robin was his daughter after bonding with her. On Febuary 21, 2012 Robin "died" in a explosion, but it was later revealed that she was alive. Robin was being held captive and drugged in an undisclosed location.
Rhonda Wexler and Scotty Baldwin
Rhonda Wexler (Denise Galik-Furey) admitted to her daughter, Karen, that Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) was her biological father in 1994. Karen was conceived after their high school prom but Scotty left town the year before. Karen dies after she falls in the street and a car hits her in 2003.
Sonny Corinthos and Dante Falconeri
It was not until Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) shot Dante Falconeri ( Dominic Zamprogna) that he realized it was his son. At the time, Dante was an undercover cop who was getting to the bottom of Sonny's mob organization in 2009. Once Sonny found out that Dante was on to him, Sonny shot Dante. It was then that Dante's mother, Olivia Falconeri, revealed that Sonny just shot his son. Luckily, Dante was not murdered and the two have a better relationship now.
Julian Jerome and Sam
Sam's young son, Danny, needed to find a match for his bone marrow transplant. Julian Jerome was tested and found out he was the perfect match and later realized that Sam could be his son. Sam rejected him at first but then started to warm up to him and let his father into his life. The relationship was not always the best but ended when Julian was killed in 2010.
Trina Robinson and Curtis Ashford
Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla Shepherd) found out that her mother, Portia Robinson, was lying to her about her biological father. Portia confessed that Curtis Ashford, who believed Trina was nothing more than just his step daughter, was Trina's father. It was late proven through a DNA test.
