MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — Students at a camp in North Dakota are learning about technology.

On Tuesday, July 9, the Magic City Discovery Center was hosting a STEAM, or science, technology, engineering, and mathematics camp. Teachers at the camp were helping the kids with experiments using what’s known as invisible water and a cloud in a jar.

After the experiments, each educator had their own hands-on science station, like do-it-yourself claw clips, invisible ink, rainbow paper, and wobble bots. The Discovery Center says the classes show kids more ways to learn about technology, and even build robots.

“For this session,” explains Discovery Center Educator Karen Sims, “we are going to be using some DC motors like small motors and batteries and rocket switches that can turn it on and off as they make their robot.”

Day two of the summer camp wraps up Wednesday with activities such as a make-your-own bouncy ball, a film canister rocket, and Sphero art stations.
