The Vine Church is hosting Community Movie Night to help raise funds for Sav-A-Life, Troy’s, building fund.

Amanda Johnson, Vine Church event coordinator, said there is nothing more exciting than a community rallying together for a common goal.

“Sav-A-Life Troy has outgrown its location and efforts are underway to raise one million dollars to build a facility that will meet the growing needs of Sav-A-Life, Troy,” Johnson said.

“The Vine Church is trying to help by hosting Community Movie Night and will be showing four movies with concessions, a silent cake auction, and Sav-A-Life T-shirts will be available for sale.”

Johnson said the hopes for Community Movie Night are that this event will raise $5,000 for Save-a-Life Troy. For more information visit thevinetroy.com.

Johnson said children are invited to dress as their favorite super hero or princess before the movie.
