A mom has shared her son’s clever attempt at convincing her to let his girlfriend start sleeping over.

Both Jessica’s son Kaden and his girlfriend Kaysha had turned 18 and clearly thought it was time to start spending even more time together , but they still had to convince his parents they could be trusted.

Jessica Buel’s video of the couple’s presentation has gone viral, with more than three million views.

The presentation included a slideshow listing all the reasons why the parents should consider the request.

“Two 18-year-old’s, you guys think there’s going to be sex. Understandable,” Kaysha began.

“So we’re going to go over your concerns in this slideshow.”

    ‘Sex means babies equals broke’

First point of order was babies, or the couple’s distinct desire to not have one any time soon.

“We’ve got some s*** to do with our future,” Kaysha said.

“Sex means babies equals broke, and I’m not trying to be broke.

“I understand your concerns, but I don’t want that responsibility right now. I kind of want to, like, shove little kids over when I hear them cry. So least of your worries.”

Their second point follows: they won’t be disturbing anyone’s precious sleep time.

“We will shut up,” Kaysha said.

“You don’t want to hear us, you want to drink wine.”

“We’re not going to stay up late.”

Kaden then appealed to his mom, saying “you know me, I’m in bed at like 10 o’clock.”

“We’re going to get great sleep. We’re not going to be grumpy in the morning – I don’t even talk in the morning, so you’re fine,” Kaysha says.

Kaysha later finishes the slideshow by appealing to Jessica’s maternal instincts.

“How can you say no to this face?” she asked while showing a photo of Jessica with Kaden as a young boy.

‘She’s the most precious thing ever’

After the video went viral, most viewers had the same question: Did the young couple get their wish?

“They presented this just before Christmas,” Jessica answered.

“I’m happy to report that yes, she stays over frequently now. And they are the best couple.”
