FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Evacuation orders have been lifted for the Basin Fire in Fresno County, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday.

On Tuesday evening, deputies announced the Basin Fire has burned about 14,000 acres and is 85% contained. Evacuation orders have also been lifted.

Sheriff’s officials say zones K30 and K40 have been reduced from evacuation orders to evacuation warnings.

Zones K29, K41, and K166 have been taken out of evacuation warning status and K31 remains the only zone in evacuation warning status.

All county roadblocks have been removed, according to sheriff’s officials.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
