American Red Cross schedules Monroe County blood drives

MONROE COUNTY — The American Red Cross has set several July blood drives in Monroe County.

People who donate blood through July 31 will receive a Fandango movie ticket for Universal Pictures' "Twisters" by email. Those who donate by July 14 also will receive a "Twisters" and Red Cross umbrella, while supplies last.

Upcoming drives include:

∙ July 13: Monroe Alliance Church, 3975 S. Custer Road, Monroe

∙ July 15: Monroe Moose Lodge, 1320 N. Macomb St., Monroe

∙ July 16: Frenchtown-Dixie Branch Library, 2881 Nadeau Road, Monroe

∙ July 17: Monroe County Community College, 1555 S. Raisinville Road, Monroe

∙ July 18: Milan American Legion, 44 Wabash St., Milan

∙ July 19: Lambertville United Methodist Church, 8165 Douglas Road, Lambertville

∙ July 19: NorthWest Christian Church, 1590 W. Temperance Road, Temperance

∙ July 23: St. Michael the Archangel Church, 510 W. Front St., Monroe
