Son tells mom he’ll ‘bash her face in’ for missing bedtime

A man accused of telling his mother he would “bash her face in” earned a free trip to Florence after he punished her for staying up past bedtime Friday night, police say.

Cops arrested 19-year-old Isaac X. Kachinski on two domestic violence charges of assault and disorderly conduct, according to a probable-cause statement obtained by InMaricopa.

Kachinski’s mother dialed 9-1-1 and told dispatchers her son dislocated her thumb at their Sorrento home on West Bello Lane.

The woman said she was reading a book in the living room when Kachinski ordered her to go to bed, the report stated. The mom said she was going to finish reading a chapter of her book when Kachinski threatened to kick her in the face if she did not go to bed right away.

Kachinski reportedly tried to kick his mom twice in the face, but she blocked the blows with her hand, causing the dislocated thumb.

Police noted they did not see the dislocated thumb as the woman stated she reset it before they arrived.

Kachinski admitted he kicked his mother’s thumb after telling her he would “bash her face in” during an argument about her health, according to the report.

Kachinski was booked into the Pinal County jail. He faces a year behind bars.
