With Prime Day less than a week away, Amazon is looking to offer a little extra incentive to prospective buyers, offering a $20 credit to some who qualify before July 13.

The $20 credit is being offered to Prime members who back up at least one photo with Amazon’s Photo app before July 13.

As for who is eligible for the deal, Amazon Prime Members who upload at least one photo to the app and have never done so before will be given the credit. Those who have used the Photos app will not be eligible for the deal.

Consumers on a Prime trial also won’t qualify for the $20 credit.

The offer from Amazon is a push to expose users to its Amazon Photo app, which provides unlimited storage of pictures and up to five GB of video.

For those who are eligible, you have some time, as you have to upload at least one photo through Amazon Photos before 11:59 p.m. PST on July 12.

After completing the process, Amazon says it will email Prime members within four days of your first photo upload, confirming that the $20 credit has been applied to your account.

So, for those grabbing a calendar, if you upload the photo on July 12, you should have the credit by the first day of the two-day Prime Day event, July 16.

For those looking for the fine print, the $20 credit can be used to buy products from Amazon.com, or it can be used on its digital services.

This means that products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon divisions are not eligible for the credit.

Amazon also shared that you will have to buy at least $30 worth of products to use the $20 credit and that taxes, shipping, and handling don’t apply to the $30 minimum.

If you don’t use it, you will lose it, as the credit will expire at 11:59 p.m. PST on July 17.
