Shannon Beador Responds to Alexis Bellino and John Janssen Engagement Chatter: ‘Good for Them’

Ahead of tomorrow’s premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, Shannon Beador isn’t holding back her feelings. She recently had a lot to say about her ex, John Janssen , moving on with a familiar OC face – Alexis Bellino .

Shannon and John broke up after a few years of toxicity – some of which was evident on the show. He quickly moved on with RHOC alum, Alexis. Alexis left in 2013, but she’ll be back as a “friend of” this season. With Shannon back full time, it’s inevitably going to get messy.

In a recent interview, Shannon gave her thoughts on John and Alexis’ fast-moving relationship, which seems to be heading toward an engagement.

Shannon shared her thought on John and Alexis with E! News . Shannon and John were together for about three years before ending their chaotic relationship in 2022. She says John doesn’t take it slow, so she’s not shocked that he and Alexis are already talking about engagement with anyone who’ll listen.

Shannon began, “That’s John Janssen. At two weeks, he said I was his person and his future, so they’re following the John Janssen course. I didn’t get a ring, but I thought right away that I was going to spend the rest of my life with John. He moves very quickly.”

Shannon expressed (or at least pretended) that John and Alexis’ relationship doesn’t faze her. In fact, she basically says she’s glad he’s someone else’s problem now. She also thinks that love might not be their only motive for getting together.

“Good for them, be happy. From the outside looking in, it looks to me that there are ulterior motives on both sides for them to be in a relationship, so we’ll see. I’m grateful that John isn’t in my life because we had a very toxic relationship. I’m grateful,” said Shannon.

Shannon shared her reaction to finding out that Alexis Bellino was returning to RHOC

We’re likely going to see Shannon have a rough season. She has to face the fallout of her drunken crash . Then, John and Alexis were added into the equation.

Shannon expressed exasperation upon learning of Alexis returning to the show, with John in tow. “Really? Really? She hasn’t been on the show for 10 years. But, yeah, she’s dating John Janssen now, so let’s bring her back.”

Shannon and Alexis already had a strained relationship due to Alexis’ now ex-husband, Jim Bellino, suing her for defamation back in 2018.

Shannon added, “She started a lawsuit with her ex-husband and I lost a lot of money. So let’s just throw John Janssen out of the equation. I wouldn’t be friends with her.”

Whew. Shannon and Dr. Moon better have a pile of lemons in multiples of nine on standby.
