If you're looking for an easy outdoor DIY that will make a huge impact on your space, you're going to want to check out what these two women have done. They put together the perfect privacy screen after making a Home Depot run and ordering a few key ingredients online.

The best part about this project is that you don't need any power tools (except a drill) to put it together, which makes it very beginner friendly!

But don't just take our word for that, take a look and see what these women were able to build.

We are feeling so inspired after watching @maddandrach's video. Not only do we absolutely love the way this privacy screen turned out, but this looks like it is easy enough that just about anyone can make one for themselves!

All you'll need is to find the perfect outdoor rugs and make a quick trip to your local hardware store to get the things you'll need to get started.

We popped into the comments to see if there was anything else we needed to know about this project, which is where we saw some of these great additional ideas.

"I know they are outdoor rugs, but they have waterproofing sealer you can spray on just in case for mold," one follower suggested.

Another asked about how well these hold up to the wind, which the OP responded to directly, explaining that she added some wood braces to this after she finished the video for just that very reason. So far, so good!

Want more privacy but don't want to DIY? You can always try this idea instead.

Woman Buys Retractable Privacy Screen for Added Privacy

This couple wanted a quick and easy way to ensure that their neighbors weren't getting an eye full every time they took a dip in the hot tub, so they went onto Amazon to see if they could find a solution.

And find one they did! The pair settled on a retractable privacy screen when they attached to one side of their house and then stretched to connect to a pole on the other side, completely obscuring them from view.

It looks like it's easy enough to open when they want to get into the tub, and even easier to close when they're done with it for the day.

Privacy Screens Turn Your Backyard Into an Outdoor Living Space

If you're looking to add a little more of a secluded feel to your yard, or else you just want to add some of the creature comforts of the indoors to your outdoor spaces, then this DIY privacy screen is a must!

Just don't forget to spray the sealant on the rugs to protect all your hard work!
