Megan Thee Stallion Cosplays As Sailor Moon While Hitting Viral Moves To Her Song “Mamushi”

Megan Thee Stallion has always been open about her love for Anime and cosplaying her favorite characters.

On Tuesday (July 9), the Houston rapper wore a 1:1 hand-sewn Sailor Moon costume while hitting the viral dance to her Megan single, “Mamushi” featuring Japanese rapper, Yuki Chiba.

Meg took to her Instagram Reel and her TikTok showing off the perfected look as she danced to the lyrics: “I get money, I’m a star, star, star/ Star, star, star, star.”

In the clip, she dons a long blonde wig with red barrettes and bangs, a white and blue mini flared dress, a big red bow, and long white gloves.

The 29-year-old’s Sailor Moon garb was hand-sewn by costume designer Bex , who showed the process of her creating the piece on her X account.

“girl i was about to quit sewing back in 2020 bc some stylist screwed me over,” she wrote . “instead I [persevered] and kept going. 4 years later, i have my dream commission on Megan Thee Stallion. bro never give up”

“HOT girl Sailor Moon outfit SEWED BY ME! luv u megan!” she added in another post. She also shared Megan doing the “Mamushi” challenge while wearing her designs.

The Grammy-winner actually traveled to Japan back in March, where she pulled off other Anime looks, and also connected with fans responsible for creating the viral dance.

“We made it to JAPAN,” she wrote at the time while channeling Satoru Gojo from the Jujutsu Kaisen series.

“MISS GOJO THEE STALLION you alone are the honored one ,” one fan wrote as another called her, “HOT GIRL SATORUUUUUU.”

While in Tokyo, she also tried some interesting foods for the first time, including a very alive sea critter that she dubbed a “sea c**chie.”

“Im warning you right now there is alot of screaming in this video lol I have tried some very delicious and very interesting foods while being in JAPAN i don’t wanna leaveee,” she captioned a vlog of her time there.

Meg also made sure to hit up the Hello Kitty store in Osaka, Japan.
