Growing up with siblings makes life a lot more fun. Just ask Bernese Mountain dog Koko, who has the greatest title in the world—big sister. By the look in baby sister Robbi's eyes, she's doing a heck of a job.

In a July 10 TikTok video shared by Koko & Robbi (@kokoandrobbi), big sis absolutely loves hanging with her mini me. Watch their cute banter and prepare to fall in love!

The adorable montage of moments captioned, "Sisters, best friends forever," begins with Koko looking down at a tail-wagging Robbi. Right after, the clip cuts to the two gals hanging out on a bed enjoying each other's company. There's even a big smile on Koko's face when Robbi playfully paws at big sis's face. You can just tell Koko is having the time of her life with the baby Bernese (and clearly Robbi feels the same)!

The famous siblings have only been together a year but to them, it's like they were meant for each other. With dozens of videos showing their 40,000 followers everything from their weekly blowouts to teeth cleanings, and all the fun moments in between. They'll be best friends 'til the end!

Why Bernese Mountain Dogs Make Great Siblings

Koko and Robbi adore each other, but that may partially be because Bernese dogs were originally bred for droving, guarding, and draft work. The guarding work alone means they're first in line to protect family, pets, children and yes—little sisters like Robbi.

My Family Vet says the Bernese Mountain dog breed has a lot going for them, which is why so many families opt for one (or two!) when possible. These gentle giants are so amazing with traits like:

    • An excellent family dog that loves human companionship
    • Good with children and other pets
    • Affectionate, easygoing, and lovable
    • Loyal and loving companion
    • Good watchdog with a loud bark
    • Intelligent and easy to train

Of course, a lot of a Bernese's personality depends on how socialized they are, and there are a few downsides. They shed and need brushed a lot, they're highly sensitive (so it takes them longer to mature), they can be standoffish around strangers, they don't do well in heat, and they're prone to some health problems. Other than that, their personalities are typically big and sweet, making them the perfect candidate if you decide to add another to your crew.

If you're on the fence about adding a second Bernese Mountain dog to bond with your first, watch Koko and Robbi's videos to see why it'll be one decision you won't regret!
