The Resident alum’s defense lawyer, Corey Cash, is brought on board by Jax to help with her friend Shanelle’s case, but the team-up soon turns tense.
“I know for a fact that if we don’t follow the right plan, we lose ,” Corey exclaims at Jax, angering her husband Lewis, who threateningly responds, “I suggest you take some of that bass out your voice, homie.”
And Lewis may have another reason to be worried about Corey, who seems awfully fond while later hugging Jax.
Season 2 of the legal drama will begin Thursday, Aug. 22 on Hulu with two episodes, with new installments releasing weekly on Thursdays.
