Florida Democrat: Impeach 2 conservative Supreme Court justices

Maxwell Alejandro Frost, a Democratic U.S. representative from Florida, is backing the progressive-led push to have two conservative Supreme Court justices impeached.

Articles of impeachment drafted by Democratic U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York accused Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito of failing to disclose gifts from wealthy supporters and refusing to recuse themselves from high-profile cases in which the justices had a conflict of interest.

“Justice Thomas and Alito’s repeated failure over decades to disclose that they received millions of dollars in gifts from individuals with business before the court is explicitly against the law,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a statement.
