Simply add the ingredients listed below to your crock pot and let it cook for 6 to 8 hours. This soup is a healthy option, especially if you're trying to lose weight and increase your vegetable intake. The soup has a delightful flavor, and it can also be frozen for future meals. Your refrigerator can keep it fresh for up to five days. This soup should accommodate 4 to 6 people. Another option is to add elbow pasta to the soup to make it more filling. Keep in mind that this will increase the calorie count of the soup. This soup is packed with nutrients like Protein, Vitamin C, Potassium, Magnesium, antioxidants, and dietary fiber, which can help lower your bad cholesterol and regulate your blood sugar levels.

    1 head of cabbage $4.00, can of tomatoes $1.00, 1 bag of carrots $1.00, celery $1.00, can of beans $1.00, 1 container of broth $1.50, 1 onion $.50

    Ingredients:

    1 head of cabbage, chopped

    1 bag of sliced carrots

    2 stalks of celery

    1 can of white beans {drained}

    1onion, chopped

    3 teaspoons of garlic, minced

    4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth

    1 can of diced tomatoes

    1tablespoon of olive oil

    1 teaspoon of slap ya mama for a spicy taste {optional}

    Salt and pepper to taste


    Ready to make?

    Add the chopped cabbage, carrots, onion, and garlic to your crock pot.

    Pour in the vegetable broth and diced tomatoes.

    Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning of your choice and salt, and pepper.

    Stir everything together and cover the crock pot.

    Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
