According to the listing, the abode has been sensitively renovated by the current owners and now includes myriad creature comforts, including a rooftop terrace and a pool area.

Dalt Vila, which translates to “Upper Town,” was originally founded in the 7th century BC, and in the 16th century, King Philip II of Spain fortified Dalt Vila to protect the area against pirate attacks. The ancient quarter, dotted with cobblestone streets and Renaissance-era walls, still maintains its old-world charm. The town was designated a heritage site in 1999 and sports a. number of well-known landmarks, including the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Snows and the Archaeological Museum.
