In a recent revelation, the sweet actress opened up about her decision to continue her relationship with Jonathan Majors despite facing opinions from her friends.
During an interview on the July 9 episode of Today Show, Good admitted that every friend encouraged her not to go public with her relationship with the actor. However, she was committed to making her own decisions, even when faced with differing opinions from the ones closest to her.
“I take everyone’s opinion and advice into account, for sure, but at the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live my life,” Meagan admitted. “I’m the one who has to get to Heaven one day, prayerfully, and give God an account of what I did. So, I want to be responsible for the choices that I make. I also want to live the life that I want to live.” She went on to say, “At the end of the day, one thing I know is that I can always look myself in the mirror when I trust my spirit when I trust God, when I ask God, when I move to the beat of my own drum — I can always look and say, ‘I’m proud of that,’” she explained. “Whatever happens, I have peace in my heart and I have harmony in my heart.”

Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors began their relationship in May 2023, just as a cloud of legal trouble loomed over Majors.
In December, Majors faced charges of misdemeanor assault and harassment brought against him by his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The trial resulted in Majors being found guilty on two counts of assault and harassment while being acquitted of one count of assault in the third degree and one count of aggravated harassment.
Despite the legal drama surrounding Jonathan Majors, Meagan Good stood by her partner’s side throughout the trial. Good’s loyalty and commitment to their relationship shine through her presence at court hearings and her support for Majors amidst the verdict. While Majors will not serve jail time, he has been sentenced to attend a 52-week in-person counseling program and pay a $250 charge.
Throughout the challenging journey, Good has maintained her faith in Majors’ innocence and her dedication to their relationship.
Most recently, she appeared side by side with her man at the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards where he received the Perseverance Award. During his acceptance speech, the couple were both brought to tears.
Returning the support and love, Majors also showed up for the New York City premiere of her new film. The two were seen dancing and celebrating each other on the carpet and the dance floor.
It’s clear that their love and relationship are stronger than the outside noise and are committed to staying true to each other.
