The onetime Mother of Dragons has a whole new brood.

Game of Thrones alum Emilia Clarke will star in Prime Video’s Criminal , the streamer announced Wednesday. She’ll play Mallory, a robber who’s part of a heist crew with her lover, Ricky Lawless (played by Gus Halper, Law & Order: Organized Crime ).

The series is an adaptation of the graphic novel series of the same name from Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips. Per the official character description, Mallory is “slick” and “daring… as quick with a gun as she is with her wits.” Mallory’s life also seems stressful : She’s “a woman on the edge, living on the wrong side of the law and hiding secrets that will bring her and her entire crew into the danger zone.”

Clarke joins a cast that includes Richard Jenkins ( Six Feet Under ), Charlie Hunnam ( Sons of Anarchy ), Adria Arjona ( Andor ), Kadeem Hardison ( A Different World ), Dominic Burgess ( Palm Royale ) and John Hawkes ( Deadwood ).

Brubaker and Jordan Harper ( Hightown ) will serve as co-showrunners. Brubacker and Harper also will executive-produce alongside Sean Phillips, Sarah Carbiener and Phlipp Barnett. Amazon MGM Studios will produce.

Criminal will be Clarke’s second major TV role since wrapping her eight-season run as Daenerys “khaleesi” Targaryen on HBO’s Game of Thrones ; she has since played G’iah on Disney+’s Secret Invasion .
