Finn fans can't see his character doing this particular act on The Bold and The Beautiful.
Whether Hope and Finn will officially start an affair remains to be seen, but fans aren't too concerned despite their chemistry. Hope was voiced that she was to have feelings for Finn to her mother Brooke in an episode a month ago and the kiss she fantasized about. But the burgeoning storyline seemed to take a pause with Thomas' surprised engagement to Paris as well as his return. Now Hope's feelings for Finn were brought up again by her mother who tried to put things in perspective for her daughter, who is also navigating her feelings towards Thomas while also advising her not to go that route.
Finn, on the other hand, had an emotional and sweet moment with wife Steffy as he apologized for everything he put her through when Sheila turned out to be alive. Fans watching this episode couldn't fathom that Finn would ever cheat on Steffy.

Fans of the CBS soap show vented about not seeing Finn as a cheater and how the move would be out of character for him. One fan wrote on X formerly Twitter wrote: "Unless Sheila drugs both of them I don’t know how they justify Finn cheating - something dramatic would need to happen" A second fan said: "I don't buy Finn as a cheater, so unless he gets drunk or something I don't see him cheating." Another said: "Awww Finn’s talking like himself again. I’ve missed you, my dude! Please take a seat, take a load off. Stay a while. Leave imposter Finn behind." A fourth fan said: "Finn worships the ground that Steffy walks on so if Hope decides that she wants to get involved in that then she’s only setting her own self up for failure bc he won’t do nothing but go back to his wife"
Finn apologized to Steffy in their conversation about not putting her fist especially in the situation with Sheila. He acknowledged he was wrong to do that and how he was focusing on "believing in the good" and "helping people." He vowed to respect Steffy, love her and make sure she's heard. He also said going forward, he will always put her first.
Steffy said she appreciated his apology and admitted the Sheila situation was upsetting. She let Finn know she forgives him. Finn promised not to let her down again and Steffy said to him, it's only them and they "can't let anybody and anyone come between" them again as again as they tearfully hug.
While this was happening with Finn and Steffy, Brooke and Hope were talking about Thomas' engagement in aftermath of the July 4th party. Hope was obviously still upset and Brooke told Hope she knew why she was feeling this way and was fixated on Thomas. She concluded that Hope was running to Thomas to distract from her feelings for Finn. Hope insisted her feeling were genuine for Thomas which Brooke agreed but said she's afraid to acknowledge her feelings for Finn.
Brooke warned her daughter not to follow in her footsteps of cheating and affairs which was the reason. She reminded Hope once again not to go after Finn.
