Antonio Banderas Shares Rare Photo of Reunion With Stepdaughter Dakota Johnson

Antonio Banderas is everybody’s favorite stepdad in new photos he shared with his followers on social media.

As the filmmaker revealed in his Tuesday, July 9, Instagram post , he recently had an opportunity to reunite with his stepdaughter, Dakota Johnson , in Málaga, Spain. Banderas became Johnson’s stepfather when he married his second wife, Melanie Griffith . Even after the couple’s divorce in 2015 after nearly 20 years of marriage, Banderas and his stepdaughter remain close.

The Fifty Shades of Grey actress visited her stepfather’s theater company, the Teatro del Soho CaixaBank, while she was in the city. In the first photo that Banderas, 63, shared in his Instagram post, he was dressed casually in a green and white T-shirt and tan pants. He had his glasses hooked inside the neck of his button-up T-shirt as he sat, appearing relaxed, inside a booth. Johnson, who was photographed wearing a black dress, sat in the booth next to Banderas. She had both of her arms woven around one of his as she pressed her cheek into his shoulder and gave the camera a small smile.

The second photo showed Banderas and Johnson in the same outfits, though this time they were photographed sitting on a stage surrounded by his theater group. The third image included in Banderas’ post provided a zoomed-in view of the previous onstage photo to show Banderas and his stepdaughter more clearly.

“Happiness: Dakota in Malaga!” the Mask of Zorro actor wrote in his brief Instagram caption.

Fans of the actor and actress alike were thrilled to see the reunion.

“A true and honest relationship between stepfather and stepdaughter, always support each other. Ppl appreciate,” one person praised.

“Love the love you have for your daughter!!! ❤️,” one fan wrote as another echoed their comment, writing simply, “Love this love.”

“That’s your baby 🥰, you’re a great father!” one Instagram user wrote as another said, “It’s beautiful you treat her as your own.”

“What a beautiful photo❤️ She was so little when she came to Málaga w you and Melanie for the first time💕☀️,” another fan remembered.
