The women — who are the wife and daughters of well-known BBC radio host John Hunt — were found dead in their home Tuesday night with crossbow bolts in their chests.
Their killing sparked a massive manhunt and school lockdowns as officers sought the armed and dangerous suspect, until he was finally located at the cemetery not far from his home.
The extent of Clifford’s injuries or how they came about remains unclear.
Police say he was injured when they found him and that he was captured without shots being fired.

“Following extensive inquiries, the suspect has been located and nobody else is being sought in connection with the investigation at this time,” said Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins.
“This continues to be an incredibly difficult time for the victims’ family and we would ask that their privacy is respected as they come to terms with what has happened,” she added.
“This investigation is moving at pace and formal identification of the victims is yet to take place.”
Hunt has another daughter, Amy, who lives in another part of England.
The BBC sent out a letter to staff describing the incident as “utterly devastating”.
