Bridgeport Islanders To Host Providence Bruins For Home Opener

While the New York Islanders will have one addition -- so far -- to their squad for the 2024-25 campaign with Anthony Duclair coming aboard, there are reasons to be excited in Bridgeport.

The AHL Islanders will welcome defense prospects Calle Odelius and Isaiah George to the organization, among a few new signings from other clubs.

Forward prospect Alex Jefferies will begin his first full season as an exciting and gifted goal scorer.

Although not all the dates for Bridgeport's 2024-25 season have been released, the team did announce on Wednesday that they will be hosting the Providence Bruins at Total Mortgage Arena on Oct. 12:

• February 15th
• March 8th
• March 22nd
