We have been blowing our own horn since July 1 because of this awesome fundraiser b rought to us by Don Burns in honor of his wife Katy Burns , a well-known Concord Monitor columnist who died last November.

Don started the Katy Burns Local Journalism Fund that will help make sure local news doesn’t go away in New Hampshire.

We are growing fast and we hope you will keep donating when you can. We will have another double donation called NewsMatch in November and December and anytime our readers would like to start a match drive of any amount of more than $1,000.
