SMYTH COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — The Smyth County Sheriff’s Office assisted in apprehending a man who allegedly led several agencies on a pursuit on a stolen motorcycle Tuesday evening.

Sgt. Jackson said the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office initiated the pursuit against a black sports bike.

Smyth County units and Virginia State Police (VSP) became involved when the pursuit made its way to Interstate 81.

Jackson said the pursuit continued to Duncan Road in Smyth County, where Keesee drove through an unfamiliar residence with no trespassing signs posted. He was taken into custody after being cornered in the driveway.

Keesee was found to have been wanted out of Page County, Va., with felony drug-related warrants. Sgt. Jackson said Keesee received charges from all agencies involved, including trespassing, felony evading, and other related charges.
