    See the most expensive homes sold in each North Jersey county in June

    A $4.825 million mansion on 1.08 acres of land, a waterfront property with a private dock on Lake Mohawk and a luxury apartment with sweeping views of New York City were among the priciest properties to sell in North Jersey in June.

    Several of North Jersey's most expensive properties this month were sold through private sales. Others were sold through the typical real estate process.

    Here's a look at the priciest homes sold in each North Jersey county in June:

    Bergen County

    150 Oxford Drive, Tenafly — $4.825 million

    Officially selling for $4.825 million on June 3, 150 Oxford Drive in Tenafly was the most expensive single-family property to sell in all of North Jersey last month. The home was both listed by and bought with Orly Chen of RE/MAX Properties Plus in Tenafly.

    Boasting 6,919-square-feet of living space on a 1.08-acre lot, this seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom Colonial home is located in the coveted East Hill section of Tenafly. Built in 2007, this home features spacious rooms, modern amenities and lots of natural light.

    Passaic County

    124 Edgewood Ave., Clifton — $1.325 million

    The home at 124 Edgewood Ave. in Clifton was sold for $1.325 million on June 3. The property was purchased part of a private sale, according to Passaic County deed records. Built in 1948, the five-bedroom, five-bathroom home boasts 3,000-square-feet of living space on a .11-acre lot.

    Two properties — 87 Virginia Ave. in Clifton and 50 Overlook Road in Little Falls — were tied for second as the next most expensive properties to sell in Passaic County in June. Both selling for $1.2 million on June 18, the home at 87 Virginia Ave. was also purchased in a private sale, according to deed records, while 50 Overlook Road was listed by Lynn De Luccia of Century 21 Cedarcrest Realty in Caldwell in July 2023 before selling last month.

    Morris County

    12 Dellwood Parkway E, Madison — $3.183 million

    Selling for $3.183 million on June 3, the home at 12 Dellwood Parkway E in Madison was another pricey property that was purchased through a private sale. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom Colonial home boasts 6,534-square-feet of living space on a 0.98-acre lot. Among its features include a large family room with French doors leading to a bluestone patio, an updated kitchen, a game room, media room, recreation room, two home offices and a two-car garage.

    Essex County

    25 Lawrence Drive, Short Hills — $3.6 million

    Originally listed for $3.495 million, the home at 25 Lawrence Drive in Short Hills officially sold for $3.6 million on June 3. The home was listed by Tony Verducci of The NJ Luxury Real Estate Group powered by SERHANT, and bought with Kristen Pierotti of Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty.

    Built in 2016, this five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home sits on a 0.53-acre lot. Its features include a chef-inspired kitchen, two home offices, an ensuite primary bedroom with a sitting room and custom dressing room, a first-floor bedroom, a large walk-up attic, a home theater, exercise room and more.

    Sussex County

    420 W Shore Trail, Sparta — $1.82 million

    The home at 420 W. Shore Trail in Sparta officially sold for $1.82 million on June 14. Listed by Julie Killen and bought with Denise Kevil, both realtors with Coldwell Banker Realty, the home was initially listed for $1.649 million in April.

    This four-bedroom, three-bathroom waterfront home sits on a 0.25-acre lot on Lake Mohawk. The property features an abundance of natural light, four fireplaces, a spacious eat-in kitchen, a finished walk-out lower level and a backyard with a deck, covered patio and private dock.

    Hudson County

    225 River St. APT 1902, Hoboken — $3.145 million

    Unit 1902 at 225 River St. in Hoboken officially sold for $3.145 million on June 25. The apartment was listed by Joseph Nichols of Realty Express LaBarbiera, and bought with Giovanni Maramonte and Lori Heidenry, both realtors with Keller Williams City Life Realty.

    This three-bedroom, four-bathroom unit consists of 2,367-square-feet of living space. In addition to sweeping views of New York City and the Hudson River on top of the W Hotel, the features of this property include a chef's kitchen with custom cabinets and stainless steel appliances, an open-concept living room and dining room, two private balconies and 10-foot ceilings.
