    These restaurants in Steuben, Allegany counties are for sale as dining scene shifts

    Looking to get into the food industry?

    There may never be a better time in Steuben and Allegany counties.

    About a dozen eateries are currently up for sale across both counties. Some are iconic local establishments that have built up a loyal customer base and remain in operation today, while others have been shut down for some time and need fresh leadership to breathe new life into the business.

    A changing of the guard may be underway on the local food scene, as many of the listings note that the longtime owners are looking to retire and pass the reins to a new generation.

    Steuben County restaurants for sale

    Little Italy, Hornell

    Description : The Little Italy pizzeria has been a Hornell fixture at 7498 Seneca Rd N for nearly two decades. The building covers 1,655 square feet on just under an acre lot. The interior dining room area was remodeled several years ago, with an open floor plan that could be utilized for retail or office space. The property went on the market in 2023.

    Just One More, Willing

Attempts to reach ownership were unsuccessful. A neighboring restaurant just up the road, Mama's Smokin' BBQ, was recently sold and rebranded Two Sisters and a Smoker.
