A tragic incident occurred over the Fourth of July weekend when a four-month-old baby girl succumbed to heat-related complications after her parents took her on a boating trip in Arizona, amidst a heat advisory .

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office disclosed that the family was enjoying their time on Lake Havasu when the infant became unconscious around 5.10pm on Friday. This is the second such incident that's happened in Arizona this summer .

The emergency services responded swiftly, taking the baby to Havasu Regional Medical Center, and then she was flown to Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Tragically, the little one died shortly thereafter, as confirmed by the sheriff's office.

Record-breaking temperatures scorched the area according to AccuWeather, with the mercury soaring up to 120 degrees, leading to an excessive heat warning being in place.

The GoFundMe page set up for the baby, identified as Tanna Rae Wroblewski, carried a message filled with sorrow: "We are beyond devastated, heartbroken; there are just no words," it said. "Our precious baby girl gave us her last smiles and we gave her our last kisses. We will never understand why you had to leave so soon, you were just too perfect."

On Facebook, the mother expressed her grief: "These are the last photos I took of you before you left us. Your smile radiated joy. I always said she is my ANGEL she is my PEACE. I never thought there would be a day in my life without you. You made our family whole. You would've been 4 months old today."

She continued: "Explaining your loss to your sister has been tough. We don't understand why you had to leave, how could she? She's left out toys for you and made sure your favorites were all in the bassinet before bed the last couple nights. We are so heartbroken without you baby girl. There are just no words. We love you and would give anything to have you here with us. We love you forever Tanny."

Even worse for the parents, others lambasted the couple in their comments section. "100% the parents fault! ! Idc what anyone says they should be held accountable for their actions as horrible parents," wrote one user.

"You shouldn't be having children if you're not responsible enough to know that extreme heat is deadly for both infants and adults. This was not some freak incident and could have easily been prevented. You deserve to be prosecuted for this," wrote another, receiving over 100 likes.

Sadly, that wasn't the only family tragedy in the US on July 4. A man tragically and accidentally smashed into another boat, causing his sister-in-law, who had just given birth, to fall into the water and disappear before he and a friend were arrested for 'boating under the influence.'

Jerri MacMeekin was tragically discovered floating in a Texas river hours after a boating party turned fatal. Her brother-in-law, Kyle Dean MacMeekin, 29, and his mate, Shane Everett Anniboli, 44, were arrested on charges of 'boating while intoxicated' following the discovery of her body.

Both men have since posted bail. It's reported that they both jumped into the water in an attempt to find her, but were unsuccessful.

After "several long hours" of searching, Jerri MacMeekin's body was eventually located and retrieved at 11.30pm by a team of rescue and recovery divers. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jerri had married Brandon MacMeekin, 32, just last year in January 2021, and recently became a mother to a baby girl.
