    Second teen enters plea in Lyft driver murder case

    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Tylan Peaks, 17, the second teenager charged as an adult in the 2022 shooting death of Brandon Cooper , has entered his plea.

    According to filings from the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, Peaks pleaded guilty to 17 total charges on Tuesday related to murder, aggravated robbery and 4 unrelated counts of grand theft auto.

    This follows Da’Trayvon Mitchell, 17, another teenager charged in the incident, who pled guilty on June 25 .

    A sentencing hearing for Peaks is set for July 31.
