On July 1, 2024, Byram Police Officers were alerted by the Walmart Asset Protection Team in Byram, MS, regarding a vehicle that had just left the store after shoplifting several items. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), the search took place on Friday, June 28, at the residence of 28-year-old Shyiem Marquon Banks and 36-year-old Roderick Dion Collins.
