Daphne Joy has retracted the scathing allegations she made against Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson amid the former couple's ongoing legal battle.

According to a report TMZ published on Wednesday, July 10, the mother of Jackson's son Sire wiped the controversial message from her Instagram timeline three months after she posted it. In the lengthy post, she accused the rapper-filmmaker of rape and physical abuse . 50 Cent denied her claims and sued her for defamation . She stood by her allegations even after 50 Cent moved forward with the case. Now it seems like she wants to resolve her issues with Jackson and do what's best for their son.

"Let's put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me," she wrote at the time. "You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on. You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time."

Joy and Jackson were preparing for a custody battle over their 12-year-old son when Jones' filed his lawsuit against Diddy. Prior to her allegations, 50 Cent had made several posts about Joy after she was accused of being a sex worker for Sean "Diddy" Combs in a sexual abuse lawsuit producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones filed against the Bad Boy Records founder. After she made the allegations, Jackson claimed she was only trying to weaken his attempt to gain full custody over young Sire.

"The disturbing allegations in the sworn pleadings recently filed in a court case related to Daphne Joy the mother of my twelve-year-old child, has required me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire," Jackson said in a statement to TMZ. "The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time."

It looks like 50 Cent followed suit by removing his own posts about Joy from his Instagram page. As of this report, Joy has not personally addressed her retraction.
