A teaser for fans’ newest Netflix binge watch just dropped, starring Nicole Kidman , Liev Schreiber, Meghann Fahy, Eve Hewson, Dakota Fanning, Ishaan Khatter, Billy Howle, and Jack Reynor.

Based on the popular 2018 beach read by Elin Hilderbrand of the same name, “The Perfect Couple” revolves around a wealthy family in Nantucket, and a wedding weekend gone very wrong.

Here’s official logline for the limited series: “Amelia Sacks is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season — until a body turns up on the beach. As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.”

Kidman portrays Greer, while Hewson will play Sacks. Jenna Lamia is the writer and showrunner and Susanne Bier is the director.

In the teaser trailer, Dakota Fanning is giving advice to her soon-to-be sister-in-law. “The key to this family is to just stay on the periphery, where it’s safe,” she explains. Another voice later notes, “They’re rich. Kill someone and get away with it rich.”

“The Perfect Couple” will premiere on Netflix on September 5. It’s just one of many book adaptations to hit the small screen this year, a list that also includes “Apples Never Fall,” “The Sympathizer,” “Expats,” “We Were the Lucky Ones,” “Lady in the Lake,” and more.

Kidman was last seen on TV in Prime Video’s “Expats,” and recently made headlines while giving an update about the potential third season of HBO’s “Big Little Lies, ” a drama for which she won an Emmy. She’s also currently on Netflix in the film “A Family Affair.”

“Just you wait!” Kidman said during a Vanity Fair interview alongside former co-star Reese Witherspoon. “We’re moving fast and furious. And Liane is delivering the book. And we’re in good shape. So the rest is…We need to shut up because there’s this whole thing that you should never talk about something until you’ve done it. Because if you talk about doing it, it’s the dopamine hit of doing it. You feel like you’ve done it. It’s a scientific study.”
