Sofía Vergara's Trippy Birthday Snaps Have Fans Doing a 'Double-Take'

Sofía Vergara brought her friends and family together to celebrate her 52nd birthday on July 10, dressing to the nines in a bright yellow strapless dress. She even had a matching yellow cake, which threw fans off when they saw the photos.

The day after her big day, Vergara shared plenty of snaps from the celebration, writing to fans and friends, "Thank u all for my happy bday!!!🥳🥳🥳☀️."

The first photo showed the star posing with her yellow cake in front of her on the table. While many fans showered the actress with compliments and birthday wishes, some were distracted by the position of the cake.

One fan wrote, "Had to double-take on that first image. It looked like you'd been halved and plonked onto the table," garnering over 1,000 likes as people reacted to the comment.

"That’s what i thought too! It should be a meme 😂," wrote someone in reply, as another said, "me too I thought she had magical powers 😲 😲 totally what I thought that a magician had done a trick 🎈🎈."

In other photos from the special night, Vergara posed with some important people in her life, including her beau, orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman , with the two cuddling up together with drinks in their hands.

Vergara's close friend and America's Got Talent co-star Heidi Klum was also in attendance, dressed in a black lace dress as she moved to plant a kiss on Vergara's cheek.

Klum posted her own snaps from the night out, writing a sweet message to Vergara: "Happy Birthday my beautiful smart and most important funny @sofiavergara ❤️ I love you so much 🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺❤️."

The Griselda actress shared more snaps as well, including one of herself and her son Manolo posing for the camera, while more family and friends crowded around to celebrate with her.
