General Hospital Spoilers 7/11/24: Heather Fights Back!

Some trouble can’t be avoided in today’s General Hospital spoilers! Heather pushes back against Laura’s efforts, Maxie tries to understand Mac’s feelings, Felicia confronts Cody, Ava promises John she has things under control, and Sonny looks to Alexis for help!

Since Heather was diagnosed with cobalt poisoning and had her hip replacement replaced, her behavior has changed. But while there are plenty of people in Port Charles who disagree with Laura’s decision to reopen Heather’s murder case given these extenuating circumstances, it turns out Heather is among them! “I don’t want it to be put to the test,” she admits to Laura. Does Heather not truly believe she’s better?

Maxie was upset to learn that Cody had lied to them all this time about being a member of their family but was willing to understand his fear. However, she doesn’t understand why Mac is reacting so badly to the news that he has a son. “Why are you taking such a hard line with Cody?” Maxie asks her father.

Meanwhile, Felicia heads to the Quartermaine stables to question Cody herself and try to understand why he was so reluctant to admit the truth. “You don’t want any part of the Scorpio-Jones family,” she confirms. But how does Cody really feel about the whole thing?

After John interrupted a rather heated conversation between Sonny and Ava, she assures the FBI agent that she knows just how to deal with this particular thorn in her side. “I think I know how to discourage Sonny from returning,” she declares.

After leaving Ava’s Sonny heads over to Alexis to see if she will back him up in his custody battle for Avery. “All I need to know,” he says. “Will you support me?” Alexis shouldn’t be able to represent Sonny in his legal battle with Ava given the obvious conflict of interest, but she should be able to support him… right?
