    Local farmers celebrate Beef Month in Tennessee

    JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – July is Beef Month in Tennessee. Beef is one of the state and region’s biggest agricultural commodities.

    Melissa Shelton with 4-H and Gracie Shults, a 4-H Junior Beef Chairperson, joined Good Morning Tri-Cities with more on how to celebrate Beef Month and what working in the industry is like.

    Shults works with her parents on the Flag Pond Charolais farm. You can learn more and check out some beef products by calling the farm at 423-330-0023.
