Vicki Gunvalson and Teddi Mellencamp Feud Timeline

Everyone knows that Vicki Gunvalson , the former OG of the OC, has never been good when it came to being nice to the new girls. Every time a new woman was cast on the Real Housewives of Orange County , Vicki made it her mission to make her life pretty hard as she hazed her. But it turns out that the mother of two doesn’t just resign herself to picking on her own franchise. Cue Teddi Mellencamp . The two have been in a heated feud forever, leaving fans wondering how it all started.

How the Vicki Gunvalson and Teddi Mellencamp feud started

Not surprisingly, it all started when Vicki’s former co-star and friend, Tamra Judge , threw her under the bus while talking on her podcast, Two T’s In A Pod, which she hosts with Teddi. Tamra revealed to Teddi that while filming the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club, Vicki had called her “boring.” Ever since Tamra let that tidbit of information slip, there has been tension between the two gals. Ironically, they dislike one another since they both had the same sad ending to their Bravo careers. Vicki was demoted to a ‘friend of’ ahead of Season 14 and chose not to return because she was so offended. Teddi also was forced off the show after being labeled boring by fans. It is a pity these two can’t get along.

The interview

While on Entertainment Tonight with Tamra, Vicki didn’t hold back as she confessed that she couldn’t stand Teddi. The insurance queen noted, “I don’t know Teddi Mellencamp, but I don’t like Teddi Mellencamp.” If that wasn’t bad enough, Tamra also revealed that Vicki had tried to call their podcast boss to have Teddi fired. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star didn’t take the insults well and fired back on Twitter.

Teddi posted a promo for Bravo’s new show, sharing, “Be sure to tune into Season 2 of #RHUGT tomorrow on @peacocktv! Starring my friend and @two.ts.inapod cohost @tamrajudge, I can only hope @vickigunvalson got paid in gas cards cause her love tank seems like it’s stuck on empty lately. Hope this post doesn’t have her calling my @iheartradio boss to try and take my job again.”

Vicki responded by writing, “What the heck?? I never tried to ‘take your job.’ I’m good honey. I have a career @coto.insurance and work with @debtcom. Oh and my love tank is full and it’s not stuck on empty at all. That was rude! Please don’t use me for content on your podcast please.”

The Vicki/Teddi fight goes social

The feud quickly escalated to a she said, she said on social media. Teddi went low as she posted a reference to Vicki’s former love interest, Brooks Ayers , and his cancer scam. Teddi wrote, “Any other Bravo fans watching I Love That for You on Showtime with Vanessa Bayer? It’s about a girl who scams her way into a job by lying about having cancer. Just feels so familiar.”

Vicki was livid as she responded with her own set of tweets that read, “Wow…Low blow! You know nothing about what transpired with my x. This is why you only lasted 3 years… ME…14!” But Teddi hit back hard, essentially shutting down the conversation, asking, “Well, if we’re talking numbers, could you let us all know where you were on January 6th?” Teddi tried to insinuate that Vicki was at the Capitol riots on January 6th, after Trump lost the election, but there was no proof that she was.

Vicki spoke to Page Six , sharing she was at her condo in Mexico at the time. The mother of two also noted, “The fact that Teddi would stoop so low asking where I was on Jan. 6 just shows her ignorance and why I said, ‘I don’t like her’ even before that comment.” She continued, “I’ve seen her talk this way about other women, and quite frankly, I want nothing to do with people like her.”

The feud reignites between Vicki Gunvalson and Teddi Mellencamp

In 2023, Vicki again reignited the feud during a Watch What Happens Live episode. While playing Truth or Your Amigas Take a Shot with Shannon Beador and Tamra, Vicki was asked how annoying she thought Teddi was, but she didn’t hold back. The RHOC star stated, “I do not like her, so give me a shot,” giving Teddi a 10 out of 10.

Sadly, it seems like these two just aren’t meant to get along.
