Cracker Barrel Fans Outraged At The Sight Of New “Modern” Interior

LEAVE CRACKER BARREL ALONE. I have never believed the phrase "embrace tradition, reject modernity" more in my life. If this video is legit, and a sign of things to come for the beloved Cracker Barrel restaurant franchise, they are making a huge mistake. There's no amount of buttered and jellied biscuits that could save them from this. In a video that's gaining a lot of traction online, the interior of what looks to be a recently updated or renovated Cracker Barrel appears to have abandoned the old wood paneling and over-decorated walls. Instead of the classic aura that restaurant goers have come to love since 1969, when the very first Cracker Barrel opened, the franchise is opting to go with a modern farmhouse look. There's already so much going on in the world right now that sucks. Don't make Cracker Barrel suck too. If everyone's favorite old-fashioned breakfast, lunch and dinner eatery goes modern, where am I supposed to eat perfectly burnt pancakes while "Here in the Real World" by Alan Jackson plays off in the distance? Where can I go get a bottomless cup of coffee while surrounded by old timey advertising splattered all over the walls? It's a travesty of the utmost proportion, and social media is putting their foot down trying to get Cracker Barrel to reverse course: "ABSOLUTELY NO." "Looks like Panera with a fireplace." "Put it back, right now!" "Nah they’ve gone too far now."A "The end is near." "I’ve got extra pitchforks. We ride at dawn!" Name a time and place... I'll happily protest this horrific new version of Cracker Barrel.
