Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills is reporting the deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, July 4, through Wednesday, July 10.
Thursday, July 4
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where a private property hit and run was reported after a vehicle struck a mailbox and the driver fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Olympic Way where a subject with a mental health police pickup order was detained and transported to a mental health facility for evaluation.
*Deputies responded to Via Del Oro and El Lago Boulevard. A hit and run traffic collision occurred when a motorist side-swiped another vehicle and left the scene without exchanging information. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where a mutual combat fight was reported at a business.
*Deputies responded to Desert Canyon and Sunridge drives for a reported traffic collision after a driver made an unsafe turn. One subject was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Vehicles were towed from the scene.
Friday, July 5
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject assaulted the victim at a business.
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Hamilton Drive where a domestic violence assault was reported.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Bainbridge Ave. reported that an unknown subject burglarized a storage shed and took approximately $30,000 worth of property.
*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Sundown Drive where it was reported that a resident of a group treatment home had personal items taken. It was determined that the items were confiscated by the staff of the facility.
Saturday, July 6
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Catclaw Court where an individual with a mental health police pickup order was detained and transported to a mental health facility for evaluation.
*Deputies responded to the 9000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where subject was trespassed from a business.
Sunday, July 7
*Deputies responded to Trevino Drive and Saguaro Boulevard where a rear end traffic collision was reported after a driver failed to control their speed to avoid a collision. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains where a violation of a court order was reported.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Centipede Drive reported that an unknown subject attempted to extort the victim out of money by threatening to publish a compromising photo of the victim.
*Deputies responded to Shea and Saguaro boulevards for a reported rear end traffic collision. The driver of the vehicle that caused the collision fled the scene without exchanging information. The driver was later located and issued a criminal citation.
Monday, July 8
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive where it was reported that a motorist struck a fixed object in a residential parking lot. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to Shea and Fountain Hills boulevards where a rear end collision occurred in the intersection. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
Tuesday, July 9
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro Boulevard at Ledferd Lane where a motorist was stopped for speeding, traveling 54 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. A records check revealed the driver’s license was cancelled. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
