    Srixon ZX7 Mk II Irons

The Srixon ZX7 MKII Irons are very popular among the top PGA Tour Players right now with nine tour pros currently carrying it in their bag, including Keegan Bradley, Sepp Straka, and Shane Lowry.

This makes this model the most popular line from Srixon when it comes to supplying PGA Tour and LIV Golf players.

According to the PGAClubTracker.com database, the Srixon ZX7 MKII Irons are the fourth most popular iron model on the PGA Tour.

The clubs are the fastest Srixon irons to be put into play by PGA Tour pros following their release in January of 2021, with the compact, single-piece forged ZX7 irons a fine replacement for the iconic Z745 range until they were succeeded by the MKII.

They were first trialled by top players in October 2022.

An all-new design characteristic exclusive to ZX7 Mk II Irons is the PureFrame technology. Srixon says that the PureFRame enhances feel at impact by reducing unwanted vibrations.

They have revealed that the PureFrame ridge is forged into the body of the Iron—just behind the sweet spot—as an 80% thicker portion of 1020 Carbon Steel.

This ridge is strategically placed right where you strike the ball, and the result is a soft yet solid strike that doesn’t sacrifice any of ZX7’s famous tour-caliber workability.

Srixon’s dynamic Tour V.T. Sole helps maintain clubhead speed through impact for clean strikes across fairways, rough and sand—even if you contact the turf slightly behind the ball. A higher bounce on the leading edge prevents digging; then, a lower bounce on the trailing edge curves away from the turf, so you can still manipulate the face angle for maximum workability on non-ideal contacts.

Laser milling between each groove, on every loft, enhances friction in all conditions. The result is congruency across the set, as spin, distance, and launch window remain as consistent as possible.
