PRESTONSBURG, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A Floyd County Animal Shelter official said they had a “slight heart attack” when their security camera pinged in the middle of the night.

The Floyd County Animal Shelter shared the security camera footage on social media on Thursday.

According to the post, their heart skipped a beat when the notification came in at midnight stating, “A person has been detected in your cat room.”

However, when they opened the footage, it wasn’t what they thought it’d be.

The video shows two escape artist kittens “having a field day.”

“But then you open the app to see Binky & Bowie have learned to open their cage and are having a field day,” the post read. “You can’t help but cackle.”

Followers couldn’t get enough of the cuteness, but their favorite part was the other shelter cats cheering them on from their cages.

As other commenters pointed out, now they know the cameras are working properly!
