If you ask me how I feel about smoothies , I’d say they’re pretty good. But if you ask me how I feel about smoothies on a deeper level, I’d tell you that I’ve never met a fruity blended beverage I don’t like, and I can’t imagine life without them. They’re delicious and bursting with juicy flavor, endlessly customizable and you can even sneak a few veggies in to make getting your greens easier and more exciting. What did we do to deserve such a perfect summer beverage? Super melodramatic, I know, but it’s true. A life without a smoothie is truly a life unfulfilled. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t like to get their Caribbean Way on every now and then?

Regardless of how you like your smoothies, of course, before you worry about the ingredients, you’ll need to have a trusty blender on-hand to help bring your cool, delicious fruity concoctions to life. For those of us with limited counter space, though, a bulky industrial-sized appliance may not be the most efficient use of space. Not to mention blenders can be expensive. Even the ever-popular NutriBullet will set you back a whopping $80! But what if you could snag an equally effective dupe for a fraction of the price?

    Holstein Housewares Personal Blender

    Big Lots

Thanks to discount haven Big Lots , now you can! The budget-friendly retailer added the stylish Holstein Housewares Personal Blender system to shelves, and we’re racing to our nearest store to take advantage of this deal. This essential kitchen companion comes drenched in a sleek black colorway, stands at just 9.45-inches in height and only takes up a meager 4.72-inches in width. The entire system comes complete with a BPA-free 20-ounce travel cup and flip-top lid, stainless steel blades and anti-slip feet to ensure stability while you’re whipping up your tropical concoctions.

In terms of operation, the device uses a handy one-touch pulse button that allows for easy and consistent mixing. Best of all, the entire device will only set you back a meager $16.99, which is a steal compared to the substantially higher-priced NutriBullet. Of course, with the latter, you’ll receive a few additional items as well as the quality that comes with the name, but we’re sure this one from Big Lots will serve you just as well. And besides, with all the money you’ll save, you can buy enough smoothie ingredients to last you all season long.
