“Has anyone ever projectile [vomited] in front of you?” the superstar asked the host as she struggled through Onima, the level six wing, in her first Hot Ones appearance, which was released earlier today.
Evans, relatively unfazed, replied, “Never in front of me, believe it or not,” before asking the songstress, “Why, do you think you might?”
“No no, I just want to make sure that I’m setting a standard,” Carpenter joked back.
“The struggle is part of the spectacle,” said Evans.
Carpenter reached for a glass of milk as she was trying to settle down the spice, which she admitted “actually tastes so bad.”
Later in the episode, Carpenter admitted to being a “snotty girl” when it comes to spicy foods, to which Evans told her to “let it fly” and offered her a variety of tissues.
As Evans continued with his questions, Carpenter admitted that one of her answers to him was “bullshit” from being too distracted by the fire inevitably burning on her tongue from Red Flag, the sauce before infamous number eight, “Da Bomb.”
The Espresso singer nearly became the interviewer in the episode, as she later asked Evans if anyone has ever sued him over the pain they’ve endured doing the show.
“Do you do this to yourself willingly? Has anyone ever sued you?” the guest said in disbelief as she sucked down the milkshake she brought with her in an attempt to cool off after “Da Bomb.”
“Why, are you getting an idea or something?” Evans quipped. “You signed a waiver. That’s ironclad, alright Sabrina?”
“I signed a waiver?” the pop superstar asked the laughing crew.
The two also discussed Sabrina’s popular song “Nonsense” almost not making her album Emails I Can’t Send , plus the most awkward banter she’s had with her audience, her experience being a lifelong Beatles fan, and her favorite relaxing pass time, sketching.
