Party hostesses, this one's just for you.

If you've been looking for a quick and easy DIY project or maybe you've been trying to decorate for an upcoming garden party, then this video will be right up your alley. It's crazy just how easy it is to build your own dinnerware if you have the right supplies on hand.

This DIYer figured out a super simple way to make her own cake stands from some basic Dollar Tree items. So you know these barely cost her $10 to make! That's the kind of budget we love to see.

Check out her tutorial below to see just how simple this project can be!

TikTok creator @themagnoliamercantile is the queen of coming up with seasonal DIYs, home projects, fun recipes, and hacks for hosting parties. This specific craft checks all of those boxes and we can't wait to try it for ourselves.

How to Make a DIY Cake Stand

The supply list is crazy simple. Here's what you need!

You can either head to your local Dollar Tree or even a secondhand store. You're going to want to grab a small ceramic plate and a small ceramic bowl that can fit on the underside of the plate. Last but not least, you'll need some super glue.

You can probably see where this is going, right? Simply flip over your bowl, add some glue to the bottom rim, and place your place right side up on top. It's a cake stand within just a few seconds! Just flip it over.

You can use these for any upcoming parties, gatherings, or even a wedding. These would be the perfect centerpieces for a reception and you can even let the guests take them home since they are so cheap to make.

We think this project would be even cuter with thrifted dishes. Not only is it environmentally friendly, but it'll be a fun search to see what pieces you can find that will fit.

(Pro-tip: if you have any extra hand-me-down plates from family, use them to make cake stands as a way to keep using them!)
