Hoka might be best known for making some of today's lightest and most fashionable running shoes , but the brand also makes great footwear for hiking . And though it's quite rare to find Hoka sneakers on sale, many of the brand's trail shoes have shockingly been marked down, including the Speedgoat trail runner as well as the Kaha and Trail Code hiking boots. Now, another one of the brand's waterproof hiking shoes is on sale at Zappos, and it's the lowest price we've seen anywhere.

The Hoka Kaha 2 Low Gore-Tex Hiking Shoes are now on sale at Zappos for only $145—a rare 34% off the normal $220 price. These hiking shoes have amassed a loyal following of shoppers who rave about their "supportive and plush" midsoles that feel like the brand's running shoes . They're currently available in two colors at Zappos and come in sizes 7.5 to 13, though they're selling out fast because they're $20 less than the price at Hoka .

These Hoka hiking shoes are made with durable and waterproof nubuck leather uppers and Gore-Tex fabric to keep them light and breathable while sealing off any chance for water to enter. Everything sits on a thick rubberized foam midsole that provides fantastic cushion and shock absorption with each step, which those who need a little extra comfort will appreciate. The Vibram Megagrip rubber sole is also super tough, featuring 5mm lugs that'll keep you confidently trekking over round rocks, uneven gravel, and slippery roots.

Those who have ventured out in the Kaha 2 Low say it's a force to be reckoned with. "I just spent six days in Banff/Jasper National Parks and probably logged 50-plus miles covering elevation rises of 1,700 feet in 2 to 3-mile jaunts," a shopper said. "[These keep you] very light on your feet with great support and comfort; ideal for stream crossings and wet weather." Another shopper agreed, saying "The Kaha 2 has the plush ride, leather attributes, and Gore-Tex needed to make any hike, mountain, or desert a great experience. You can't lose with this model."

Other reviewers noted their immediate discovery of how comfortable these hiking shoes are. "Most comfortable hiking shoes I have ever worn," one reviewer said. "I have kept them on for 12 hours a day almost four days in a row, out of the box…They will be providing me great comfort on the trails in Sedona and the Grand Canyon!"

If you're looking to get out on the trail in a shoe that's built with the comfort of a lightweight running shoe, Hoka has you covered with the Kaha 2 Low . Make sure to pick your size up as soon as possible, though, because Hoka sale shoes tend to sell out in mere days.
