    Third annual Big Wheel Bash to be hosted by the State Fair of West Virginia

    FAIRLEA, WV (WVNS) — The Third Annual Big Wheel Bash was announced by State Fair of West Virginia officials.

    From 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, the Big Wheel Bash will be hosted by the State Fair of West Virginia .

    The Big Wheel Bash is a fundraiser for the State Fair of West Virginia’s scholarship and endowment funds. Tickets for the event are $100, and will include live entertainment from Blaze the City, dinner, and drinks, as well as a benefit auction.

    Crab cakes, New York strip steak, and an exclusive Ben Ellen Bread Pudding will be included for dinner and dessert.

    The Big Wheel Bash has quickly become one of the most important and fun events we host. Since its inception, the State Fair Scholarship has given over a half million dollars to kids from our state to further their education and it’s a goal to continue to grow this program.

    The State Fair of West Virginia started an endowment fund in 2006 to help support three important initiatives over time. The initiatives include, youth educational enrichment programs, competitive agricultural exhibit premiums, and scholarships for West Virginia students.
