Fans Say Robert Irwin Must Be ‘Protected at All Costs’ As He Shares ‘Picture Perfect’ Footage

Fans are enthralled with new behind-the-scenes footage that Robert Irwin shared online after participating in a TV Week photo shoot ahead of the 2024 Logie Awards.

The 20-year-old conservationist has been nominated for two awards at this year’s ceremony, which is scheduled to take place at The Star in Sydney, Australia, on August 18. He is up for the Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality On Australian Television and the Silver Logie for the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter, both for his co-hosting role on I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here .

Several weeks before the event, the son of the late Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin shared a special video with fans showing him posing for photos with a few gold-colored props. In the behind-the-scenes footage that Robert shared on TikTok on Wednesday, July 10, the wildlife photographer wore a white suit and matching white sneakers as he collaborated with photographers to capture unique shots.

In one clip, Robert grabbed hold of two balloons and, holding one in each hand, jumped from a small ladder so that photographers could capture him in motion. He later repeated the idea when he tossed handfuls of confetti over his head, with the resulting image showing him surrounded by specks of gold.

In his TikTok caption, Robert wrote that he is “Going for gold at the Logies!” Noting that he was “honoured to be nominated,” he thanked TV Week for the photo shoot and urged his social media followers to cast their votes for him.

Some fans who left comments on the “too adorable” video declared Robert the “nicest person on the planet” while others focused on how he looked “so so so so so handsome!”
