    Friends of Charity Auto Fair begins Friday

    BEAVER, WV (WVNS) — Kicking off on Friday, July 12, 2024 is the Friends of Charity Auto Fair at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport.

    27th annual John Henry Days offers a fun and unique weekend to celebrate southern WV

    The fair will have everything from classic cars to carnival rides, food trucks and vendors.

    Advanced tickets are available online , but you will be able to purchase single day passes at the gates as well.

    Jeri Knowlton, Director of Public Relations for Hospice of Southern West Virginia said they are working hard to make this weekend great.

    “So, today we are loading everybody in for what is sure to be a fantastic 19th annual Friends of Charity Auto Fair. We have our sponsors and vendors moving in today. The carnival is setting up behind me, the food trucks are also coming in. So lots of action,” said Knowlton.

    The Auto Fair will feature hundreds of cars, rides and games.

    The Fair opens Friday at 9 a.m. and runs until 11 p.m. They will also be open 9 to 11 on Saturday as well.

    All proceeds will benefit Hospice of Southern West Virginia and Brian’s Safehouse.
